HiR is the Integration of “him” and “her”
The name “HiR” represents the integration of opposites. HiR Fine Dining is the creation of Noam Kostucki, a multi-talented artist, entrepreneur and creator. HiR Fine Dining combines refined and luxurious food with a rustic and casual family style environment.
HiR Fine Dining is an intimate 3h dining experience for up to 12 guests per night. Dinners take place at Noam’s home and guests are seated all together along the same table. If you chose to join this culinary adventure, you will be taken on journey that integrates opposites.
Dining in Nature
A wooden rustic table is set up outside so that guests can truly experience being in nature while eating fine dining. The restaurant hosts dog, three cats and is often visited by howler monkeys and other animals.
Eating at the Chef’s Home
HiR Fine Dining is where Noam Kostucki lives every day. He opens his home for up to 12 people per night to experience the magic he creates in the kitchen. The tables are set right outside of the kitchen so that you can see and talk to Noam as he’s cooking for you. There is no staff at HiR Fine Dining: everything is done by Noam, from cooking to serving, cleaning and answering your requests for reservation.
Reservations Only
Because it is Noam’s home, HiR Fine Dining is not a walk in restaurant. Reservation has to be made a minimum of 48h before the dinner, ideally 1 week or more before. Before a reservation is confirmed, Noam calls every guests to talk about the experience, dietary restrictions and transportation. Dinners are confirmed when payment has been received.

Noam loves to talk directly with people a lot more than interacting with a machine. Noam is the only person who works at HiR Fine Dining and you're invited to his home. The only way to come for dinner at HiR Fine Dining is to have a conversation with Noam so that he can talk with you about the dining experience, availability, dietary restrictions, transportation, wine and payment.
FILL IN THE CONTACT FORM - at the bottom of this page, there is a contact form with all the questions we need to talk about before we can confirm your dinner. Make sure to include a working phone number and an email to contact you at. Please add (+1) 650 550 0578 (Noam HiR Fine Dining) to your contacts so that you know it’s not a spammer when Noam is calling you. If Noam hasn't been able to reach you after 3 phone calls, your request for reservation will be cancelled.

HiR Fine Dining in Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Logistics & Important Information
START & END TIME - Dinners start at 5pm and finish around 8pm. We will wait up to 15 minutes for late guests, and after that dinner will start. Dinner is scheduled at 5pm because it allows guests to arrive when it is still daylight, see the beautiful change of lights during sunset and leave when it is dark night. The other practical reason for this set up is that HiR Fine Dining is in a remote location that makes it very difficult to find at night.
DINNER IS $160 PER PERSON - All nights are 7 plates surprise menu and all dinners are paid in advance. The price includes tax but does not include transaction fees. Tips are not expected, and they are welcome if you had a particularly wonderful dinner.
BRING YOUR OWN WINE & DRINKS - After several complaints about wine, I decided to stop serving wine at dinners because my focus is to prepare the best food possible. There is no corkage fee and diners are welcome to bring anything they want to drink. For wine lovers, if you want to buy at a store, I recommend going to Walters Fish & Cheese and if you want to order ahead of time, contact Alain from French Paradox: (+506) 8324 8525 / alain@frenchparadox.com. Tell them you’ve been sent by Noam from HiR Fine Dining and they’ll take great care of you. I have wine glasses, a bottle opener and a small fridge to keep your drinks cool during the dinner. For non alcohol drinkers, I recommend buying kombucha or ginger beer at Almacen.
PAYMENT METHODS - All dinners are paid in advance. Payment can be made through Debit / Credit card (3.5% transaction fee), Paypal (5% transaction fee) or Bank Transfer / Deposit (no transaction fee)

3 weeks or more = 75% refund
2 weeks = 50% refund
Less than 7 days = no refund
TRANSPORTATION - I recommend a few people for shuttle services if you don’t want to drive. I recommend different drivers for groups of up to 4, 6 and 12 people.
Francisco - He has a nice 4x4 car for up to 6 people. He’s tico and speaks fluent English and has a great pura vida vibe. He’s also a musician, manages horseback riding tours and a house called “Casa Natura”.

MEET NOAM MERCEDES KOSTUCKI, THE CREATOR AND CHEF AT HiR FINE DINING
I am an explorer, a creator and a guide. I love to try new experiences, and then create similar adventures where I can guide others.
In everything I am and do, I'm naturally drawn to bringing things together that normally are not supposed to.
I have no formal culinary training and never worked in a restaurant before starting HiR Fine Dining. I have worn a lot of different hats, and my main professional background is in business coaching. My first call of fame was at the age of 23 for a TED talk about "selfishness is the best reason to cooperate".
Today, I live in Costa Rica where I coach entrepreneurs / creators to make money while living magical lives, and I cook food at my home for guests from all over the world.
HiR Fine Dining is luxurious fine dining in a casual, rustic and family style environment. You are invited to my home, and I do evertyhing... from cooking to clearning, answering the phone and even cleaning the bathroom.
I cook with the freshest produce I can find, and I create dinner based on the season, my inspiration, and the dishes guests selected as their favorite at the end of each dinner. Each dinner is a full adventure for guests, and as well as for me.
